My Family Vet and Various other helpful volunteers helped raise 23 back pack FULL of supplies for children in need of school supplies!

After purchasing a backpack, here is a list of suggested items a child may need:

1 package of pencils

1 package of crayons

1 package of colored pencils

1 package of markers

MFV Open House

My Family Vet hosted an Open House: Trick or Treat Meet and Greet for all the new clients and existing clients to meet our doctors. We passed out candies to the kiddos, had a pet costume contest and door decorating contest! Winner of the pet costume contest was Biggums "Elvis" Hendrix! Winners of the door decorating contest was Dr. Redden, Erica, Chrissy and Kelly with Room 3!! Thank you to everyone that came out and supported our team!

Quilt for Baby Frances

The My Family Vet team all created a square for the quilt that was made for Dr. Scott's baby girl, Frances Olivia. Kelly's mom, Margaret Persinger, made this quilt by hand with lots of love. She did an awesome job and we love how it turned out.

Food Drive May 2010

With last years food drive in November being such a success, My Family Vet decided we had to do it again...even BIGGER!! So with the help of local girl scout troops and our gracious clients we know we can reach our goal of 4,000 lbs. of food!!!! Help us today and bring in your donations of any dog or cat food in it's original packaging by May 15th and recieve a coupon for a FREE nail trim or anal gland expression!

Southeast Texas "Snow" Day

This was the one random day that Southeast Texas received "snow".

Christmas Party 2009

MFV Annual Christmas Party held at Dr. Scott's house. Every year we have a CRAZY theme and compete against each other for awesome prizes! This year was our Camo theme and everyone looked great in support of our troops!

Patients and Their Pets

Emergency Health Centre at Willowbrook next to Lupe Tortilla
This event has been set up to express the importance of pets in our lives. They are a key part of keeping their owners healthy and happy and we would like to celebrate that bond.

Dr. Scott and the staff will have a booth set up with lots of good information and we would love for you to stop by to visit us.

Other organizations that will be attending are KSBJ Radio, Seeing Eye Dogs of America, the Tomball K-9 Unit, Tomball Farmer's Market, and many, many more.

There will be a photographer to take pictures with your furry companion, a massage chair, a pet costume contest that will be judged by the Officers from Animal Cops Houston, a raffle drawing with great prizes and many other exciting activities.

Please join us for this event and bring your furry family member with you!

Food Drive

Food Drive Saturday November 28th 8 A.M - 12 P.M.
Homeless animals need a Thanksgiving too!!

The rescued animals are very much in need of food and treats. All food is welcome bags & cans, all brands will be graciously accepted!
We will be accepting all donations through the entire month of November.
A free nail trim or gland expression certificate will be given with any donation of 20 pounds or 24 cans.
All of the donations will be used for rescued and homeless animals.

If you are interested in fostering one of these wonderful rescue friends, please call the office for more details

Alzheimers Walk

With many staff members dealing with a close relative affected by Alzheimer’s My Family Vet stepped in for support!! We decided we would reach a goal of $1500.00 and with the support of our wonderful clients we achieved our goal and more with an amazing donation of $2465.00!!We were ranked #3 in donations for the walk held in The Woodlands. We immensely appreciate all the support Team MFV received!! Thank you!

Alzheimer's Dog Wash

We came together as a Team MFV and put together a Dog Wash to help raise money for the 2009 Memory Walk for Alzheimer's. We all had a blast and enjoyed the company of all the dogs who came to see us. Thank you to all the clients and surrounding neighbors who made the wash a success!! GO TEAM MFV!!
