Our Family

We are a growing family at the clinic and so it is only natural we treat you and your pets with respect and kindness. Here are a few of our dedicated staff members doing what they love.

Dr. Clara Scott believes strongly in client education, and believes in giving you informed choices when it comes to your pet's health. She offers a full range of pet health treatments, surgery, and wellness care. She knows that your pet is a family member and is ready to help with your commitment to the health of your furry companion.

Amanda has been at the clinic since January 2006. After graduation from Texas A&M in December 2002, she realized she wanted to work with animals. She has a family of 4 dogs, Gus, Lewis, Emma and Shelly that are known as the “variety pack”. She and her husband, Rob, enjoy taking the dogs to the park to play. At least twice a week, she is asked if she’s the neighborhood dog walker while out with her own pack. She is looking forward to meeting you and your kids soon.

Angela has been Dr. Scott's long time technician since September of '04. She's loves to assist in all surgeries, and when she's not helping out in the exam rooms, she's in the field "taming" Charlie the llama with the other techs. Angela and her pet family LOVE to watch the Saints games on Sunday. Look out for her Drew Brees jersey on fun scrub Friday...WHO DAT!

Chrissy started working at My Family Vet in August 2008. She is happily married with two beautiful little girls, Chloe and Gracie. She has three doggies Sarge, Copper and Jean Claude, who spend more time on the couch then she does. She can't wait to meet you and your furry friends. She's a sucker for tall and dark handsome boxers...the dogs! She thinks her life would make a hit reality tv show.

Hayley moved to The Woodlands from Nederland, near the Beaumont/Port Arthur area in April 2008. She came to My Family Vet with 2 years of vet tech experience at a veterinary clinic in her home town. She started working here just as soon as she moved because it was obvious she was going to be a great fit. She is currently working as a receptionist, but would love to be back in her role as a tech. She has 3 dogs, Rufus, Skylar Mae and London. She had a handsome little man named Logan, born March 5, 2009 and plans on getting married to Jeff in the next year or two. She plans on returning to college and studying forensics.

Lauren has been a vet tech for 11 years and has been working at MFV since August 2006. She got married to her husband Luke in November 2008. She has 4 dogs named Lexi, Lana, Levi, and GoldieLochs. She is currently attending college and her goal is to become a Forensic Chemist. She’s a joy to be around and has “the touch” when it comes to your fuzzy friends.

Ashlee recently joined the “married” team after her wedding in December 2007. She’s currently in Nursing School and hopes to be a RN within the next couple years. She has 2 furry kids, Jolie and Beaux. Jolie, a Shih Tzu, likes to run like crazy on the side of the couch and Beaux, a huge Lab, thinks he’s a lap dog and constantly tries to sit on his Mama! Ashlee is a wonderful vet tech and your pets will love her.

Courtney has been a part of my family vet since August of '07 She has three wonderful furry children Hondo, Belle and Pebbles who heep her and her new husband entertained and very busy.

Krystal started with the team during the Summer of 2007. We had known her for several years before she joined, so she was already a good friend and a great fit at the clinic. She is currently attending college for her degree in Architecture. She is having a baby that is due April Fool's day. Her husband, Jerrod, puts up with the numerous critters she brings to their home. She has three permanent furry kids, Juddah- a cocker spaniel/yorkie/wanna-be pitbull mix, Dirty South- a very lovable Snowshoe, and Aslan- a beautiful Russian Blue. We depend on Krystal because she has the special touch with the “special needs” pets. She can’t wait to meet your family too!

Spencer joined MFV in the Summer of 2007 and is loving every minute of it! He is currently is starting at Blinn and is gradually making his way to Texas A&M University. After work, he likes to jog around his neighborhood and pump iron. He has four furry friends at home.

Kelly became a My Family Vet team member in June 2007. She loves working with and helping out your furry friends. She is currently attending college and hopes to attend Texas A&M Univeristy to study medicine and become a Nurse Practioner. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys going to the movies with her friends and searching the streets for stray doggies. She has two pups at home, Buster, an 8 year old boxer and Zoe, a 3 year old rescued sharpei.

Michelle became a technician at My Family Vet in March 2008. She has 2 wonderful dogs, Katy and Maddison. She enjoys working with animals and has enjoyed her new role at the clinic. She is looking forward to meeting you and your pets.

Natalie started at My Family vet in Nov of '08. Aways ready to find the answer to any question you might have about your pet. She has one fat cat Chimara and two dogs, a feisty boxer Nakita and everyones favorite rescue dog Maybelline. In her off time she enjoys taking her dogs on walks and art.

She became a member of MFV in August 2009. She has a beautiful little girl named Samantha that was born May 18, 2009. Jennifer and her fiancee' are planning on getting married September 2010. She has 3 dogs named Clover, Hemi and Precious. She loves hunting, fishing, riding the jet ski and the New Orlean Saints! GEAUX SAINTS!

Haley started as a receptionist with My Family Vet in the Summer of 2008. You won't see her during the Fall and Spring semesters because she'll be at Texas A&M, but you can definitely catch her here during the Christmas, Spring and Summer breaks. When she's not tending to cute pups like Dusty, she enjoys playing sports and hanging out with friends and family.

Erica knowing that she always wanted to work with animals, recently graduated from the Vet Tech Institute. She did her externship at My Family Vet and loved us so much, she decided to stay and join the team. Erica owns everything from cats and dogs to rats and turtles. She loves the satisfaction of your pet going home happy and healthy, no matter how big, small or exotic your pet may be. On her spare time she loves to spoil her 2 chihuahua's Lilly and Blue.

When Maria started at My FAmily Vet she came in smiling and never stopped she loves to give everyone hugs including your pets. This mother of 5 is always running and making sure we are all taken care of. We all enjoy her sweet smile and hope you do to.

She started working with MFV in March of 2009. She is currently a junior at Klein Collins High School. She loves animals and has a dog named Henry. She is very active in FFA and the horse judging team at KCHS. She plans on going to Tech and majoring in Ag Education.

Maddye started as a tech with My Family Vet in the fall of 2009. She is a senior at Klein Collins High school and will be attending Sam Houston State University. Maddye enjoys playing sports, participating in FFA, and hanging out with family and friends.

She starting working at MFV in November 2009. She has worked for a veterinary clinic for the past 2 1/2 years as a receptionist. She currently has 1 dog named Cheyenne and 2 cats, Hemi and Dually. She loves outdoor adventures such as 4 wheeling, fishing and going to the lake. She loves working with animals and is a great addition to MFV.

In a perfect world, every dog would have a home and every home would have a dog.
