Courtney Dyke "Hi! I'm Courtney and I have been working at My Family
Vet since August 2007. I'm a full time student at SHSU. I spend the
majority of my time with my 3 dogs Hondo, Belle, and Pebbles. I enjoy
watching movies, eating, the outdoors, and listening to a good live
band. See ya around the office!"
Tomi Daley joined the My Family Vet team in March 2008 as a full
time receptionist. She is originally from Chicago and is still adjusting
to her recent move to Texas . She attended FSU with a major in Criminology,
but ultimately wanted to work with critters. She has two water dragons
and is constantly rearranging their tropical terrarium.
Kelly Persinger became a My Family Vet team member in June 2007.
She loves working with and helping out your furry friends. Currently
she is a junior at Klein Oak High School and hopes to attend Texas
A&M Univeristy to study medicine and become a Nurse Practioner. In
her spare time, Kelly enjoys going to the movies with her friends and
searching the streets for stray doggies. She has two pups at home,
Buster-an 8 year old Boxer and Zoe, a 3 year old rescued Sharpei.
Krystal Strothkamp started with the team during the Summer of 2007. We
had known her for several years before she joined, so she was already
a good friend and a great fit at the clinic. She is currently attending
college for her degree in Architecture. Her fiancé, Jerrod, puts up
with the numerous critters she brings to their home. She has three
permanent furry kids, Juddah- a cocker spaniel/yorkie/wanna-be pitbull
mix, Dirty South- a very lovable Snowshoe, and Aslan- a beautiful Russian
Blue. We depend on Krystal because she has the special touch with
the “special needs” pets. She can’t wait to meet your family too!
Dr. Madelyn Redden recently joined the My Family Vet team of doctors
in June 2008. She is from Victoria, Texas and was the last graduating
valedictorian from Stroman High School. She graduated from Texas A&M
University in 2003 with her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science
and she graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine
in May 2008. Dr. Redden is the proud owner of 3 sugar gliders, Gizmo,
Oliver, and Blaze. She also has 2 cats, Madison and Stella and a turtle
named Squirt. She is eager to meet all of our clients and their furry
kids.
Michelle Chisum became a technician at My Family Vet in March 2008. She
has 2 wonderful dogs, Katy and Maddison. She enjoys working with animals
and has enjoyed her new role at the clinic. She is looking forward
to meeting you and your pets.
Corey Clemens joined the MFV team in the summer of 2007 as a vet
tech. He stays busy keeping up with his family which consists of his
wife, Betsy, his 3 kids, Michael, Alexus, and Carolyn and 4 dogs. If
you miss him at the clinic, you can catch up with him fishing at Burroughs
Park or tearing up the trails in his Jeep.
Angela Mikolajczyk has been with Dr. Scott for nearly 4 years now. She
is one of the senior techs at the clinic. She loves to work in surgery
to ensure your pet is happy and healthy. When she's not at the clinic,
she is busy with her own family of 3 dogs and 2 crazy cats. Geaux
Saints!
Dr. Ashmore joined the My Family Vet team of doctors in September
2006. She graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of
Arts degree in Biology. She then studied 1 year of post graduate work
in the Animal Science Department at Texas State University in San Marcos. Shortly
thereafter, Dr. Ashmore attended and graduated from Texas A&M University
College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a great deal of experience
with our furry friends and she is a terrific veterinarian.
Jordan Giles just graduated from Klein Collins High School in May
2008 and started working at My Family Vet in June. She cheered for
Woodlands Elite for 5 years. She is planning to go to Tomball Community
College in the Fall to start her basics then transfer to a University
afterwards. She enjoys scrapbooking, arts & crafts, writing, and
any outdoor activities such as camping, going to the beach, or jet
skiing. She has a beautiful black cat named Missy.
Dr. Montgomery is a graduate of Texas A&M University. She first
practiced veterinary medicine in Oregon and Washington before returning
to Texas 5 years ago. Her areas of interest include dermatology, internal
medicine, endocrinology and preventative medicine. She enjoys spending
her free time with her husband and two daughters. Dr. Montgomery also
has 2 dogs, 1 cat and 5 fish in her family. Come by to visit Dr. Montgomery!
Amanda Clarke has been at the clinic since January 2006. After
graduation from Texas A&M in December 2002, she realized she wanted
to work with animals. She has a family of 4 dogs, Gus, Lewis, Emma
and Shelly that are known as the “variety pack”. She and her husband,
Rob, enjoy taking the dogs to the park to play. At least twice a week,
she is asked if she’s the neighborhood dog walker while out with her
own pack. She is looking forward to meeting you and your kids soon.
Ashlee Sullivan recently joined the “married” team after her wedding
in December 2007. She’s currently in Nursing School and hopes to be
a RN within the next couple years. She has 2 furry kids, Jolie and
Beaux. Jolie, a Shih Tzu, likes to run like crazy on the side of the
couch and Beaux, a huge Lab, thinks he’s a lap dog and constantly tries
to sit on his Mama! Ashlee is a wonderful vet tech and your pets will
love her.
Bonny Wang started at My Family Vet in the Fall 2006 as one of the
lovely receptionists. She is a student of Psychology with hopes of
becoming a psychotherapist in the future. She has two furry children,
Max and Skylar. Max is classified as an extra long coney because he
is a foot and a half long. Skylar showed up in the backyard and just
made herself at home. Bonny loves all dogs and will love yours too.
Dr. Clara Scott believes strongly in client education, and believes
in giving you informed choices when it comes to your pet's health.
She offers a full range of pet health treatments, surgery, and wellness
care. She knows that your pet is a family member and is ready to help
with your commitment to the health of your furry companion.


Lauren Pruitt has been a vet tech for 8 years and has been working
at MFV since August 2006. She is currently planning her November 2008
wedding, where after she will be a part of the “L Family”, Lauren,
Luke, Lexi, Lana, and Levi. She is studying Biotechnology and plans
to graduate in 2 years and work for a BIG company. She’s a joy to
be around and has “the touch” when it comes to your fuzzy friends.
Kathy Kominczak recently became a full time employee of My Family
Vet, but has been with the team on and off for some time. She loves
animals and children and comes to us from the Ehrhardt Elementery School
Clinic. She loves spending time with her 16 year old daughter Meagan
and getting together with friends, She adores good mussic, antique
shopping and halloween. Kathy finds every day in the new clinic an
exciting new adventure.
Danielle Bennett joined My Family Vet in October 2007. She is a
recent high school graduate and also a receptionist. Within the next
few years she aspires to attend nursing school, and specialize in neonatal
care. She has an adorable Boston Terrier, Princess, which she rescued
and loves dearly.
Spencer Schaefer joined MFV in the Summer of 2007 and is loving
every minute of it! He is currently a senior at Klein Oak and is gradually
making his way to Texas A&M University. After work, he likes to jog
around his neighborhood and pump iron. He has four furry friends at
home.
Hayley Roebuck just recently moved to The Woodlands from Nederland,
near the Beaumont/Port Arthur area in April. She came to My Family
Vet with 2 years of vet tech experience at a veterinary clinic in her
home town. She started working here just as soon as she moved because
it was obvious she was going to be a great fit. She is currently working
as a receptionist, but will soon be back in her role as a tech. She
has a huge furry family…3 dogs, Rufus, Skylar Mae and London and 3
cats, Scavenger, Milo and Meatloaf. She plans to work really hard
and attend veterinary school.
Mike Cantu, our Office Manager, is on the fast track to insanity
trying to manage all of these ladies at My Family Vet! He started
in the Summer of 2007 after a long career in the restaurant business. He
was born and raised in South Texas and loves spending his free time
golfing and hanging out with friends. He’s an Aggie through and through
and will be the rest of his life. Gig em!!
Haley started as a receptionist with My Family Vet in the Summer
of 2008. You won't see her during the Fall and Spring semesters because
she'll be at Texas A&M, but you can definitely catch her here during
the Christmas, Spring and Summer breaks. When she's not tending to
cute pups like Dusty, she enjoys playing sports and hanging out with
friends and family.
